Family Friendly Halloween Movie Nights
Halloween doesn’t have to mean chainsaw chases, creepy clowns, and three weeks of your kids refusing to go upstairs alone. (Honestly, the only jump scare I need is checking the price of Halloween costumes at Target. ) Sometimes the real magic of spooky season is as simple as cozy pajamas, a couch full of blankets, and a movie that keeps the kids entertained without giving them nightmares until Christmas. Because let’s be real — you’re already sleep deprived enough without tiny feet sneaking into your bed at 2 a.m.
So instead of scrolling endlessly trying to find something that’s not too scary but also not Bluey’s Halloween Special for the 47th time, I’ve rounded up the best family-friendly Halloween movies that hit the sweet spot. We’re talking pumpkins, giggles, a little spookiness, and just enough nostalgia for you to sneak in your favorite childhood classics while the kids are distracted by popcorn.

As I was doing my research of the different streaming platforms, Amazon Prime really blew it out of the water with the selection. Granted, you might have to rent some of them, but they have the largest selection of family friendly options that were great for all ages of your kiddos for movies and shows!
